In 2020 Covid shut down all public buildings, including houses of worship. The historic Glide Memorial Church needed a way to keep its congregation together throughout the pandemic to prevent permanent closure.
SOLUTION
I produced and creatively directed Glide’s first livestreamed Sunday Celebrations, having developed their hybrid in-person-and-webcast model from scratch.
RESULTS
Glide has now livestreamed over 300 services and events—seen by over 100,000 viewers— and their yearly Easter Celebration has been rebroadcast by local station KGO-TV each year since 2020.
