Las Vegas hotel-casino-resort Golden Nugget had a site that screamed “Old and Uptight” while their true vibe was family-friendly. They also had a bevy of hidden gems (newly remodeled rooms, shark pool, designer shops) that were hard to locate even when on the property.
SOLUTION
A cleaner UX and style guide produced a cleaner site, one that brought forward both their amenities and their room-booking functions. This design was adapted into their first custom app, which featured discoverable location-based activities (live shows, bar specials).
RESULTS + AWARDS
Both the site and app demonstrated measurably-higher customer engagement and retention.
